It's Coming Back......

With 3 runs in 15 days, I can sense that my motivation, drive, and discipline are coming back around. I promised myself that I would continue an unstructured, run-as-I-feel approach through the end of December; and I still feel that is what my body, mind, and spirit still need. The rest has been refreshing and I've been pondering -- aside from potential 2012 races -- what do I want to accomplish internally for 2012? What do I want this next year to look like in terms of character-building and being spirit-led? What areas of potential growth have I been ignoring, fighting, and/or struggling with? And on the flip side, what challenges have I overcome as a man? What victories should I be celebrating as I reflect on this past year? I trust the Holy Spirit will remind me, yet continue to work in me and through me which excites me for 2012. Another year of learning, testing, crucifying, dying, and resurrecting; for God's glory.

  1. Jacob,

I referenced this post in a review I'm doing for the 890 V2 citing the durability that you experienced in the original 890. I have 600 miles on mine and they are great shoes. The review is for runningshoesguru.com and should be coming out later this week. I'd like your permission to hyperlink to this blog post as a testimony to their durability and you as an NB athlete. Please let me know yea or ne! Keep up the good work. I love the blog.
